Banco Hipotecario takes APE denial appeal to Argentine Supreme Court of Justice

Pittsburgh, Aug. 17 - Banco Hipotecario SA has taken its appeal of the denial of its Acuerdo Preventivo Extrajudicial to the Argentine Supreme Court of Justice, according to a company news release.

Approval of the Buenos Aires-based commercial and investment bank's APE was denied in January 2004, and Banco Hipotecario originally appealed the denial in the national appellate court.
