New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 7.5 billion of bonds in two tranches

Columbus, Ohio., May 9 – Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 7.5 billion and UDI 800 million of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4.5 billion of Bondes D with a term of 1,771 days. The bonds priced at 99.13628 for a spread of 21 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 21.85 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 3 billion of 8% Bonos due 2047. The bonds priced at 104.628 to yield 7.61%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 6.34 billion.
