Adelphia files fourth amended plan, disclosure hearing to resume Nov. 10
New York, Nov. 8 - Adelphia Communications Corp. said it filed its fourth amended plan of reorganization including the company's response and proposed resolutions to "many of the objections" filed to the disclosure statement.
Hearings on the disclosure statement began on Oct. 27 and 28 and are scheduled to resume on Nov. 10.
The Greenwood Village, Colo., cable television company said "significant negotiations" are expected to continue that may result in material changes.
Adelphia filed for bankruptcy on June 25, 2002 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-41729.
