Achaogen official unsecured creditors committee named by U.S. Trustee

Pittsburgh, April 25 – Achaogen Inc.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed on April 23 by acting Region 3 U.S. Trustee Andrew R. Vara, according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members are Tiago Ferreira de Matos, representing Hovione Ltd.; Manuel Lourenco and Gary Conte of EsteveQuimica SA of Barcelona; Anthony Storino of Solar Capital Ltd. of New York; Charles Berkman of Crystal BioScience of San Diego; and Christopher Keeler of World Courier of New Hyde Park, N.Y.

The South San Francisco, Calif.-based biopharmaceutical company filed bankruptcy on April 15. The Chapter 11 case number is 19-10844.
